Warm Weather Wear
Shout out to my neighbor two doors down when I was a kid. Mike Berry was a year younger than me and had the chops to go from standard young lad to punk lad, seemingly overnight. This was 1978 and just like that, Mike was a punk rocker at the age of 13.
Apparently, the Dead Kennedys (SF legendary punk band) left an impression that changed the course of the way things were going to be for Mike. He rolled out for 7th grade that day wearing ripped black jeans, Creepers, eye liner and an old black jacket full of safety pins and DK patches. He looked incredible and in life, there is nothing more satisfying than being the first to change course towards something incredible. In his case, it meant listening to Led Zeppelin, Hall & Oates, and Christopher Cross, to the DK's, Devo, and countless other good bands at that time.
This "Item of the Week" pays a little homage to ol' Mike Berry and the guts it took to walk out of that house that day. This jacket is made with our proprietary black selvedge denim from Japan, cut and sewn in San Francisco, and has the making of a special jacket in your closet whether you fill it with pins or not.
Yours this week with a 20% discount.
Enjoy ya'll,
