We are proud to introduce our new belt, made in Birmingham, England by Barnes & Moore.  The devil is in the details so feast your eyes on this:

The leather is full grain 12 month oak bark tanned (the original leather was 3 month veg tan), from J&FJ Baker in Devon, England, and oak bark leather is only available at a handful of tanneries around the world. The reason why so few tanneries work this way? It’s massively labour intensive and expensive, but it does produce a high quality leather, that’s super tough and hardwearing as the fibres are really tight. Most of the leather preparation process is still done by hand, including dying the hides and conditioning them with greases and oils. The tannery is 6 generation family owned and the craftsmen there are all time served and highly skilled.  The leather may show some natural marking here and there, this is a characteristic of full grain leather. J&FJ Bakers oak bark leather is reputed to be one of the worlds' finest, and it will patina and age beautifully. Belt Sizing Info  Belt is 1.5" wide.

About the hardware-
The buckles are also all hand cast and exclusive to us, using traditional ‘sandcast’ casting methods. The guys that make our buckles have been casting brass and copper since 1837, so they’re pretty good at it. They also hold the Royal warrant as suppliers to the household of the King of England. The solid copper will patina beautifully, and changes pretty quickly with exposure to air.

    Excellent belt

Very high quality piece here. The belt itself is a hefty 6mm thick and very dense. It has a nice and subtle waxy/oily finish to it with a strong oud scent. The aroma lingers for a while, but it's a pleasant reminder of where this belt comes from and the natural materials used to make it. I believe the oak bark oxblood leather was used for this so it has a warm, deep, reddish brown hue to it. The copper buckle is gorgeous and has just the right amount of weight to it with an excellent hand feel. The only qualm I had was that the rivets weren't completely rounded over smooth and scratched the underside of the leather when pushed through the keeper. This was easily remedied with a ball peen hammer and some sand paper.

    My last belt.

I’m one of those guys with a curve to my hip. In order to get an any pant that will fit through the thighs, means I’m dealing with a bigger waste than I need. So a belt is always mandatory. I’ve had so much crap over the years that no matter how many holes I drill into the poor thing- my pants are still sagging like a 16 year olds. But after receive this remarkable belt, I think my days of frustration are over. No surprise from Tellason. I float between a 36 and 38 pant size and i buy mostly 38 from Tellason. I bought the 38 belt and it fits perfect. I have 2 holes to spare, and doubtful I’ll ever get skinnier than that, thanks to my love for beer. Buy this without hesitation. The buckle is gorgeous and I expect it will patina really nicely. Tellason hits it out of the park again. They’re the Babe Ruth’s of clothing!

    This is a Masterpiece

Choosing the size is easy—just pick the size that matches your pants. There's nothing more to say about the quality of the item itself. It's a thick leather belt in a subdued dark brown color. The tanning and texture of the leather are remarkable, but what really stands out is the design and color of the buckle. I find the buckle's design to be exceptionally beautiful, and I believe anyone would agree. It's both sturdy and sophisticated, drawing admiration with every touch. Both the buckle and the belt itself are expected to age beautifully. This could very well be the ideal belt. I would say it's a perfect masterpiece and a work of art. Even if you weren't looking for a belt, once you see this one, there's no way you wouldn't want to buy it. The belt, made for Tellason, comes in a beautifully designed box, adding to its special feel. Let me say it again: this is a perfect masterpiece and a work of art.

    Exceptionally Crafted Belt

The Barnes&Moore is an exceptionally well crafted belt that is a great match for Tellason Raw Denim. thick, sturdy leather, beautifully tanned, with a copper buckle that is bound to patina nicely. well worth the money. with regards to sizing, i found the B&M instruction video a bit confusing. the belt has 6 holes, and for the 38" version holes 3 and 4 are at 40 1/2" and 41 1/2" when measured from the base of the pin. that translates into a roomy 38" Tellason jeans (or a snug-fitting 36" one).
