I am so thankful for team at Tellason for this jacket. I first saw this jacket a few years ago and put off ordering it because it felt like an investment. That's just what this jacket is. It's an investment. Not only in the material, but in yourself. I feel so amazing wearing this jacket. I get questions and compliments everytime I wear it out. Thanks again Tellason. Will be ordering from you soon.
Best denim jacket I own, it’s versatile & comfortable, it’s exactly what I’ve wanted in a denim. Plus is a pleasant departure from the conventional denim jacket. AAA+++
This jacket was a little out of my comfort zone and not being able to see it in person and try it on I was full of doubt, is it a true 3 quarter length jacket? Well I put my fears aside and ordered, I am so glad I did, I LOVE IT !! It fits me like a normal trucker jacket ( I am 6'2" ) just with so much detail and quality Did I say I love this jacket lol and its made in my home state California, I am all about supporting local businesses, I look forward to being a long term customer , thanks Tony !
Pretty much sums up what I love about Tellason. I wore a Type III denim jacket for the better half of a decade, and it looked okay. But this MiUSA beaut' was made for my style and body type. A true signature piece that I find myself grabbing again and again when I head out into the wild. Unbelievably stylish in living Cone Mills denim. Don't worry, it'll fade. Only downside I can think of is that this jacket might change the type of guys who give others the shirts off their backs, and I wouldn't blame em.
This is one outstanding denim jacket. I am thrilled with it and hope to have many years with it.
I just received the jacket today, so I can't comment on it based on use. But I do know quality when I see it. The Cone Mills denim is great, the construction quality and stitching are great, and the overall aesthetic and functionality are just about perfect. Hardly a loose thread to be found, seems the quality assurance is there. Beats out even some of my favorite, more expensive clothing brands where I have to spend 10-15 minutes looking around the garment to snip all the loose thread off. I don't mind doing that, but it's something to point out about attention to detail. I saw this jacket online a couple of years ago, but never thought much of it. A few weeks ago I ran into it again and my entire mindset changed out of nowhere. Just had to have it. I've never been a denim jacket type of person (I do love high quality selvedge jeans though), and I've owned a couple of trucker jackets that I could just never get into — I just don't like short jackets that stop at the hips, I suppose. The length on this jacket is exactly what I like, and the pockets are great. Particularly the long riveted pocket that you can store just about anything that you carry on a daily basis into. The pocket on the bottom right with the stitching separating it into two compartments isn't useful for me, but nothing a seam ripper or small pair of scissors can't fix. The only downside would be the interior pocket. Seems a little small width-wise and I'm not Sizing is true to size. Of course, what that means wildly varies depending on what brands you're used to: I'd say the medium fits between what a medium would be in a fashion brand (I can rarely fit into medium jackets in those) and a workwear brand (pretty much always roomy, mostly for layering and maneuverability). With about a 41" chest, I would have to size up if I wanted to layer more than just an undershirt and shirt. The sleeve length, for me, is spot on. Outstretch my arms and the cuffs still cover the wrist, ala trucker style, but don't stack terribly while my arms are down by my side; just enough that when the jacket starts fading, the light stacking will start to take on a unique look. This jacket will be getting a lot of use, only getting better as it starts breaking in. Tellason really is an admirable company, still making their garments in the US while many companies have moved away from that. This is actually my first Tellason product, but it won't be the last.
The material the stiching the fit everything is so high quality. I can tell I'll get a lifetime a use out of this jacket. I'm 6'3 190 and the xl fits me great a little big but that makes it perfect to wear a lighter shirt underneath.
It's the best denim jacket that I have ever owned, and it is only going to get better with age.
Had my eye on this jacket for about 3 years. Finally had the $ to snag it. Inquired with Tellason via Instagram about the fit that they reccomend I get and they suggested a Medium. They were spot on! Jacket is lengthy enough in sleeves and waist(I hate short jackets) and body is slighty contoured so it does look boxy. The jacket is not too light and not too heavy. The pockets come in handy. Classic go with everything, everyday jacket
