The fit of these are perfect, the rise isn’t too high that you can’t tuck a tee in while they are still high enough. Roomy through the thighs and tapered down while not being skinny. You can tell a lot of thought has been put into the design. Love the button fly, the corozo nut buttons hold and are easy to quickly undo. Fabric is quality and an improvement from the old fabric Tellason used. I’ve worn out one pair of these after wearing them for several years and will no doubt wear through a few more. Money very well spent.
I think the only other place to get this quality material, build, and unique touches like a button fly and not a zipper all in one pair of pants is probably bespoke. And probably 2-3 times the money. Great job Tellason -
Very nice - they told me to order my normal pant size and that was good direction.
Hands down the best pair of chinos I now own. The fabric is the real deal sealer, its truly fantastic and the perfect choice of weight and hand feel. And the button fly = killer. The fit is perfect and aligns spot on with the size charts. Knocked it out of the park again guys! Cheers.
This is a great pair of slacks for those times that you want to change it up from the day-to-day denim. Built to last with a beautiful fabric - the Tellason way. Looking forward to wearing these for years.
Recently added a pair of the Tellason Tapered Chino to my wardrobe after retiring a pair of Bill's. I like the Tellason better than Bill's as I find the fit to be a bit more tailored, and I am particularly fond of the button fly. The new Japanese chino fabric is much improved from another pair of Tellasons I have. This new material is similar to a pair of Buzz Ricksons I also have in the wardrobe.
These pants are exactly as Tellason says - just like the ones from the surplus stores. I truly compare them to chinos that my grandfather wore in the 50s and 60s. These are simply the best available!
Tony and Pete’s curated goods are made so you won’t have to go out and buy more anytime soon. They are built to last and are not a gimmicky style that goes out of fashion. These khakis fit well and are built to last. Perfect.
As a child of the '70s (and college guy of the '80s) and a privileged retiree for today, I bring a bit of life experience and a weird obsession with finding a great pair of chinos. These rank way up there. The button-fly design is a salute to G.I.-issue khakis, the ones we'd find in Army surplus stores 40 yrs ago. Tellason (i.e., those two seemingly chill S.F. Giants' fans from Marin Co.) got it right. I really love the full room on top and the smart subtle taper past the knee. The Japanese twill fabric is special with its high-twist slight sheen (what in-the-know chino fanatics covet if I can say so myself). Its medium weight and heft are just right. Sizing is accurate. I'm 6'1" 185lbs; I got the 34"W but a 33"W would also do. Bonus: my pair came with a handwritten thank-you note from one of the guys. In conclusion, these pants give me a hop in my step, whether I'm getting on an elevator or heading to my favorite watering hole. Thank you, Tellason! You're making chinos great again.
