decades ago, I went to a high school with a very strict no blue jeans policy. To get around this, I discovered surplus officers chinos in local stores. All cotton button fly trousers became my favorite pants. Fairly easy to find in denim. My source for button fly chinos disappeared, any queries I made elicited bewilderment. I was skeptical when I saw the Tellesons. My wife encouraged me to try them. She was right. These are bad ass. The fit and feel is spot on. Thanks!
Have been very impressed with these, the fit for me is the big appeal. They have a high enough rise to allow room through the seat and thighs but not too high as to disallow tucking in a shirt. My only gripe after purchasing these chinos in the old Carlisle fabric was that the material didn't match the quality construction and fit. Thankfully the updated 10oz Japanese fabric is a noticeable improvement and really stands out compared to the old material. Hoping that Tellason make these in a few more fabrics as I would buy them all.
incredible quality, incredible service, incredible company. Pants fit well with a classic cut.
These chinos are a year round staple for me. The Carlisle fabric is quite durable, holding up well to years of heavy use both indoors and outdoors, with a softer hand than typically expected from a twill weave.
Usually 33" waist, bought 33" waist and they stay up without a belt, but aren't too tight.
As usual with this brand, a classic item of quality and style that will surely last a lifetime ! Straight fit as a pretty wide leg opening, so you might want to consider the tapped one . I do own and enjoy both .
A feeling of pure quality. Great color, fabric, and it is comfortable. This has quickly made its way as my top chino.
I've been searching for years for great chinos, and finally these have satisfied all my needs! Great cut, durable fabric, perfect colour. Amazing work by Tellason as always!
As a teenager we use to rummage through new old stock at The Workingmans store Dowtown San Jose, Ca... This was when the original owner was still alive. We’d find great Khaki’s made in USA from material spun here in the good ole USA... People were starting to shop malls back then for import merchandise. We as teenagers wanted great workware, especially being Union Tradesmen so we only had a few stores we shopped. Red Wing back then didn’t even have an import side of the store, they gave us a discount when we showed our Union Card... I’m 60 yrs. this is b4 all this workware became fashion. Anyways, back then if you sucked your gut in and could button the jeans, you knew you had the right size because they’d stretch to a perfect fit.. I bought these chinos and couldn’t remember how we fit them back then. A 36 waisted I bought because I’m 6’1 at 230 lbs. I fit my jeans at 35.. I had sent back the 36 because to snug I had thought. They sent me 38 because no 37’s. I was swimming in them. sent them back. Bought some Blubaughs at 35 (See my review). So I had to try one more time, the chinos in 36. Sucked my gut in, button them up and after 15 minutes if not sooner, a perfect fit.. I’ve washed them and they didn’t bounce back snug... Perfect! Need me some green Army pants now that I know Tellason’s sizeing. Hopefully they always stock Chinos, Green Army Pants, and blubauges because all you need is the basics... The ones that are in the know, know what the hell im talking about. Great freak’n Chinos!! Build a great Vietnam era Army Pant straight leg button fly. And you’ll be spot on Tellason. Stay with it
