What is a straight fit?
Straight fit denim is often referred to as regular fit denim. Straight fit denim sits fitted at the waist and has the same leg width from the thigh to the ankle.
Before industrial sewing machines and large textile machinery, denim was made and measured by hand. Since straight fit denim has the same width from thigh to ankle, straight fit denim was easier for workers to make because they did not have to make any extra measurements.
