As with all Tellason products, my Sheffield pants are made with the highest quality, components and are breaking in like a dream. I have three pairs of Sheffields, 12.5, 14.50 and 16.5 oz and for me, all have a specific purpose. My 16.5 oz are actually my favorite. Absolutely love how they are breaking in. If you’re on the fence about making the purchase, do it. You wont regret it!
These are great pants from the cone mills denim to the leather patch and thick rivets. I’ve been wearing them since the day I bought them. I’m hot soaking them as I type this this is the first time they have seen water. Look forward to buying a denim shirt soon. Get your cone mills denim before it’s gone !
Super high quality. I'm happy to have jeans made in the USA. They fit me pretty tight around the thighs but that's my problem for not calling ahead of time to find out if they'd be roomy enough. Weightlifter thighs don't fit so well.
These jeans are a through back to my youth, although, they are not shrink to fit. These jeans are heavy, although, I believe there is a heavier weight denim available. I just got these, so I haven't really broken them in, I think that takes some time. No doubt these jeans last a long time, and I look forward to them getting softer and having a faded look.
This is my fourth pair of these. Perfect fit, beautiful denim. I never would have spent this kind of money on jeans in the past, but I can honestly say they are worth every penny. The quality is the best you can get, and they will last. Can't recommend enough. Thanks for making such a quality product!
As other reviewers have said, it's like the Ankara with a taper. After the initial soak, I found the pair to be closer fitting than the my 2018 Ankara (12.5 oz), but this is probably because it is a 16.5 oz. Otherwise, this pair is really a solid build.
I love these jeans!!! The quality is amazing. I loved my first pair so much that I recently purchased a second pair of Sheffields to have an alternate. I like everything about these. These are serious jeans for anyone who appreciates quality.
Had tried many US made brands of jeans - these are by far the best fit for me - and the best quality finish. Very reasonably priced for what they are. Very very happy with my purchase and i dont imagine buying any other brand from now on. Love them.
The Sheffield may be the perfect jean for me. Six years ago, I picked the Ankara as the best option but wished for a tapered leg. When the Sheffield was announced, I was sure it would be my next pair and waited for the time I could try them out. If buying a high quality item that lasts and lasts has a draw back, it’s that you simply don’t need to replace it often. Even now, my old Ankara are in great condition but, I’ve slimmed down and they don’t fit properly. The 16.5 oz fabric is bulletproof (not scientific fact, please don’t attempt stopping bullets). Rugged without imitating plywood. Personally, I wouldn’t want to wear anything heavier. I know I’m going to enjoy wearing these jeans for many years to come.
