i have tried over a dozen of US made selvedge jeans and nothing beats this one. I was extremely happy with the Anakara but these are even better. Was a little worried because usually not prefer tapered jeans. I got these on sale, my Ankara's are 14.5 oz and i really wanted to get a 16 oz pair so I took a leap of faith. The taper is super subtle and actually feels great. Recommend getting maybe 0.5" longer inseam than usual for a double cuff, the selvedge ID on the Kaihara fabric is insane good =)
Even though this is heavy weight 16.5 oz, this jeans is very soft touch.
This is an outstanding pair of denim jeans! Buy them, you won't regret it.
There are a few things in your life that you really love. These jeans are one of those. You cannot compare them to others. Simply the best.
As with all Tellason products, my Sheffield pants are made with the highest quality, components and are breaking in like a dream. I have three pairs of Sheffields, 12.5, 14.50 and 16.5 oz and for me, all have a specific purpose. My 16.5 oz are actually my favorite. Absolutely love how they are breaking in. If you’re on the fence about making the purchase, do it. You wont regret it!
These are great pants from the cone mills denim to the leather patch and thick rivets. I’ve been wearing them since the day I bought them. I’m hot soaking them as I type this this is the first time they have seen water. Look forward to buying a denim shirt soon. Get your cone mills denim before it’s gone !
Super high quality. I'm happy to have jeans made in the USA. They fit me pretty tight around the thighs but that's my problem for not calling ahead of time to find out if they'd be roomy enough. Weightlifter thighs don't fit so well.
These jeans are a through back to my youth, although, they are not shrink to fit. These jeans are heavy, although, I believe there is a heavier weight denim available. I just got these, so I haven't really broken them in, I think that takes some time. No doubt these jeans last a long time, and I look forward to them getting softer and having a faded look.
