Recently just purchased the third pair of my Sheffields 12.5oz. After getting a good wear-in, they get relegated to work wear where they still take a beating in style. For me, living in a warmer climate, the weight is just right. The size is true and I love the slight taper to the leg. Even after washing (not too often, mind you), I love the colour. Personally, I love the hand written note of thanks thanks that comes with every order. While I know I am just one customer among many, it feels good to know that someone cares and takes pride in a simple, well crafted and timeless garment.
Get a pair, wear them every day, get another pair
This is not my first and certainly not my last pair of selvage denim by Tellason. This particular model fits very nicely and provides enough room, while not looking loose. I would recommend to order a size smaller than your usual pants - my regular pants are all size 31, so I ordered this jeans in size 30 and after 5 wears they feel absolutely comfortable and elegant. Additionally, the customer service is outstanding. Tony and his team went above and beyond for me when I had a small issue with one of my previous pairs of Tellason jeans.
I bought these jeans as a gift. I was unsure of the style to choose, and Tony was extremely responsive and helpful. The hemming process was also quick and easy, and my husband lives in these jeans now.

I appreciate the rang of fits Tellason offers, and the Sheffield in particular is a great combination of mid rise, slim top block, and moderate taper. It is a subtlely sharp cut that provides a pleasantly long profile and is, above all, very comfortable to wear. 12.5 oz denim starts out crisper and heavier feeling than I'd anticipated, particularly compared to a 12.5 pair of Ankaras I bought a few years ago. The denim has perhaps evolved over those years. This is a good thing. I know it will soften with a couple of washes and fade gently (my preference), but for those who want strong contrast fades the crisp hand is likely going to help there to. Overall, Tellason's construction is solid and thoughtful as well. Thanks guys.

This kind of comfortable-yet-tapered cut is rare, and this one fits well. The waist is 2 1/4˝ larger than the size, which is really large (and certainly a different match than Tellason’s other fits), but I actually found it to be appropriate. At first it seemed ridiculous because, although 32 seems to be my normal size raw denim size, these were so large that I could take them off with all of the buttons buttoned and without any fabric stretching. I think most raw denim wearers will size for tightness when standing; but after too many experiences of having to throw away raw denim after exercising more or otherwise gaining (only a little) weight, I decided to change my approach and size for tightness when sitting. Already, I can tell that these will fit great, even if they’ll need a belt. I have to deduct one star for what seems to be a manufacturing error. The leg opening is definitely larger than it's supposed to be—about 17˝, when it it should be 16.25˝. I was set to ask about it, but because the photo I was able to take only shows the flat measurement being slightly larger than 8.25˝ (held taut with both hands, it comes out to 8.5˝), and because I had already removed the tag, I decided to let it go.
