Tony and I have great memories of our gear growing up. Jeans of course, followed by various surf trunks like Kanvas by Katin, Birdwell and later, Maui & Sons. Throughout this golden era, corduroy always had a place in the rotation. It was usually tan and the thinner wale option was preferred to the wide wale cord which may have been a bit too preppy, all things said.
Our cord pants are cut in our Sheffield fit, which we consider mid-rise, with a bit of room in the leg, then a subtle taper to the leg opening. These are made in Italy using fabric from the Kindermann mill in Germany.
