Slim tapered fit. Made with our proprietary Kaihara Japanese orange line raw selvage denim (sanforized). Button fly. Extra heavy pocket bags. Bottom of back pockets lined for durability. Leather patch by Tanner Goods, Portland, OR. Graduated inseams from 34" to 36". If you require a hem, please contact us directly after receiving your jeans. Made in San Francisco, Calif. USA  

A NOTE FROM PETE & TONY

There are certain things in life that if you wrapped them up in protective plastic when they were new and unwrapped them 50 years later, they would be relevant and damn sharp looking. I am thinking of the '72 Camaro, the Balorama sunglasses Clint wore in Dirty Harry, and the Indie Boot Aldin made that took a beating from Mr. Ford in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

That car needs to be driven how the designers meant for it to be driven. Those boots do not need to stay away from dirt and grime and should never be considered precious. For us, we see this Ladbroke Grove slim tapered fit as that “wrap-it-up-in-plastic-bust-it-out-50-years-from-now-and-look-sharp jean”, full stop.

We love how it evolved from the early days of our one and only, John Graham Mellor slim straight fit. Some of the lads wanted a jean that was more tapered at the bottom so, whammo, the Ladbroke Grove was born.

    Well, I decided to take the plunge and get the heavy weight version of this style. Very solidly sewn and initially a bit stiff. Wearing these jeans is a bit like being a sculptor - it takes a bit of living and breaking in to fully personalize the fit and feel. But I can tell that the effort will definitely be worth it and that these jeans will be my favorite for as long as I am around.

    Best jeans ever. But also the best customer service imaginable. I’m picky with my clothes and it can be hard shopping through the mail. Not only was the whole process of trying on and sending back pleasurable, it also restored a bit of my faith in trust and humanity. These folks are truly into their work in all facets.

    This is my fourth pair of tellason jeans. Obviously I am a fan,. I keep coming back to tellason because I like the fit and the denim wears well. This is my first pair in the 16.5 oz denim and I look forward to seeing how they wear. They are a bit stiff but I like the feel of burly pants.
