These are the Goldilocks of the Telleson line up in my opinion. Not punk rock skinny, or new prison jean wide. They fit a 59 YO, 150lb guy perfect. The finish and details are top notch, with no superfluous fluff. The Japanese denim is not too stiff and absolutely beautiful. Thanks Telleson, I’m stoked.
This is a lovely denim. Here are some things I appreciated:-the color of the chain stitching on the hem-the size of the coin pocket - the fit is great -the denim itself is rigid but not too rigid -the hidden red tab ;)-the back pocket reinforcements It's all I can do not to get the 16 oz as well!!!

Third pair. If that doesn't say enough. These are extremely well made and fit per size chart.
Hands down the best jeans I’ve had. Great fabric, fit, details. When I emailed a question about sizing, Tony emailed back with helpful info. In other brands (e.g Prana) I typically wear 32/30. I measured the back band of a good fitting pair of Prana pants (17 inches) and ended up ordering a 34. Fits perfectly. Sent it back for hemming. Came back quickly. With each week of wear these just get better and better.
Received my JGM jeans after numerous emails with Tony, who was extremely helpful. He was spot on in his size recommendation. I have been wearing the jeans around for some break in prior to the "cold water" bath. It's my first pair of raw denim jeans and the fit and quality are outstanding. I'm sure they'll only get better with time.
Another Tellason home run. My last pair was the Ankara, which were the best fitting straight jeans I’ve ever owned. I’m 6’ muscular build with a bit of a beer belly. Wear 36 or 38 in other brands and 36 in Tellasons fit perfect. The JGMs have a lower rise and the fit is a bit more snug than the 36 Ankara but I can tell they’ll break in perfectly. My thighs and calves are bigger than average and the JGM slim straight fits perfect, not loose but they don’t look like skinny jeans. The 14.75oz is stiff but comfortable and I can tell these will fade beautifully. If you’re on the fence throw them in the cart. You won’t be disappointed.
