A NOTE FROM PETE & TONY

When you own a denim company, there are choices to make. Do we chase the fashion unicorn and fight for space in the stretchy, flash in the pan latest and greatest, or just relax and make things that could have been made 75 years ago that are still important today. After all, this stuff is made of cotton and like it or not, will wear out at some point. Of course, our eye has always been on quality, quality, quality so at the very least, the jeans (or jacket) you get from us will last longer than the average equivalent out there and will look good along the way.

Naturally, we started with the 5 pocket jean, but quickly aspired to make our own classic denim jacket.

Extremely Tough and Durable AND Well Designed

Amazing jacket and design. In addition to the great design and fit, the jacket has some great unique features. The inside pockets are great for traveling - easily holding airline tickets, passport, wallet and cell phone. Best of all, 100% made in the U.S.

    Great quality jacket

I have to say I love this jacket. I love the styling and quality of the denim. It's a heavy denim without much slub or texture in it. It's pretty stiff when it arrives, but not uncomfortable. After a week of wear it has softened up considerably and started to get creases set into the sleeves and back of the jacket. The fit is pretty good. I ordered a large and the measurements were pretty much spot on. They aren't listed on the website (for some reason) but the nice gentlemen here at tellason respond really quickly to emails if you ask for them. I'm six feet tall and weigh between 175-180 and the large fit me nicely. My only complaint is that the sleeves are way too big compared to the body of the jacket. Seriously, it's like they were made for Hulk Hogan's pythons, and while I wish I had some sweet ass biceps, sadly I don't. I guess I'll have to Hulk up to make the sleeves fit better!

    Perfect raw denim jacket!

Just received this awesome jacket. It took only one week to deliver it to Russia! Quality and materials of this piece are on the top. The denim is heavy and going to be even more better with time. I'm 178 cm tall, my weight is 73 kg, and my chest is around 103-105 cm. I wear Medium in most clothing brands, so I sticked to Medium in this case, too. The fit is just right for this type of denim jacket. Many thanks to Tony for individual approach and quick response. Can't wait to start wearing the jacket with my Tellason Gustave jeans during warmer months! Thank you so much!

    What a jacket!

This jacket is a highly recommended purchase! Not only is it built like a TANK, but it is very stylish and very functional as well. The 16.5oz Cone denim is dark, heavy, and very stiff. This being said, it is a bit uncomfortable at first, but will surely make for an amazing break in. Classic and clean details make this jacket an understated hero that, to me, is essential to my fall/winter/spring wardrobe. The fit is nice as well…Not too baggy but not too slim either. I’m a slender athletic build at 6’2” 175lbs and I ordered a M, which fits me perfectly. Here are the measurements I took on the M: Pit to Pit = 21” Across Shoulders = 17.5” Sleeve = 25” Back length = 24.75” Awesome denim, high quality construction, and a top notch fit. And at $250, this is actually a VERY good deal in comparison to other heavy weight selvedge jackets on the market. Thank you Telleson!

    16.5oz jean jacket

I'm really pleased with this jacket! The way it's put together and the craftsmanship are superb. What I really like is the fact they added inside pockets which are lacing in other high quality denim jackets such as Nudie's Conny , Railcar and others. Without any functional pockets you can't call them jackets their just heavy shirts! So hands down the Tellason jacket gets 5 stars
