Great winter jacket for all but the coldest days - Fit is perfect in size Large for my 6'1" 190lb frame. The back of the ams and shoulders are a bit loose cut but that will allow for necessary layering. Blanket lining and quilted sleeves are warm and, with a heavy wool sweater, I expect I'll be able to wear this most of the winter here in Chicago.
Great jacket. Super warm and works well where I’m from in 20-30 degree weather. Might be sorta slim in the arms for layering but the lining does great and I can fit a vest under fine. That 16.5 oz denim is some serious stuff and the accents of selvedge that shows around the collar rules. The only small complaint I have are the chest pockets that are a little small. The hand warmer pockets do great though.
I received this last week and can't wait for it to be cold enough to wear it every day. I'm 6'0 and 180ish, the medium is snug but fits great. Stylish, rugged, and well made. What else could you want?
The minute I slipped into this jacket, it instantly became the coolest, most comfortable thing I own. The lining is so warm and the jacket itself is heavy but not bulky. I found myself coming back to look at this jacket and finally bought it and man am I glad I did. Like everything Tellason makes, the quality is out of this world.
Amazing denim High quality The only reason I give 4 stars is because the sleeves width is very big
Got this jacket at Berkeley Supply in Colorado a few weeks ago and it has been perfect in the cool mornings and still comfortable in the afternoons when it warms up. It is soft (not itchy) wool inside and is breaking in nicely outside. My opinion is it runs a hair larger than my 12oz Cone Mills unlined jacket but I would go with the same size if you have the unlined version. I look forward to the many years of enjoyment I know it will bring. If you are in Denver stop by Berkeley Supply and say hi to Eli or Mike- they are awesome.
The quality of this garment makes it worth the price of admission. I've only been wearing mine a few weeks and several people have asked me about it thinking it's a Levi jacket. Some want to inspect it closer and are really impressed by what they see and feel, especially with the blanket lining. I tell them it's a Tellason but never the price, wonder how many Google it and think I'm crazy. For me it's worth every penny knowing I'll likely have it around the rest of my life...THIS IS A GREAT JACKET...nothing like the overseas crap you'll find at the mall...
