This is my second pair of Telleson jeans and they are amazing! These sit a bit lower on the hips which is a nice change in look from my Ladbroke Groves. Super cool look, great craftsmanship and badass denim.
For my first pair, these are just what I was looking for. After two years of wear, these are easily the most worn jeans I've owned. The denim has faded to more of a greyish blue and have slightly shrunk to fit me better. Done a couple of minor repairs plus a crotch reinforcement and they're still going strong.
So far I like them! I am more used to skinny jeans so these are a little different, but the quality is great and they’re still pretty slim fitting.
6ft 6in, 32 waist, normal inseam = 36. Skinny/athletic build. Ordered 32 waist and the cut was a little bigger, felt like a 33/34. One soak of just the waist and seat + a little heat in the dryer fixed it completely. This is my go to pair of jeans now! Simple perfection.
After trying a variety of jeans and fits from other companies, I tried the Tellason Gustave fit. It was everything I was after and more. I was looking for a close fit with a tapered leg with room to move and no pinch in the junk. This is the fit for me! I liked it so much I purchased another pair in black.
The fit on these is fantastic - slim, but not skinny. Can be dressed up or down. Look great cuffed. For a relatively lighter weight denim, they still feel bulletproof. Just superb all round.
You won’t find better made American selvage jeans. And I love supporting this small company and it’s great owners.
I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to come back to Tellason. But the wait was worth it. While it was sad to lose Cone Mills US denim, Tellason has chosen an amazing mill and cloth to replace it: Kaihara. I’m a big fan of the mill, and I can tell already that this fabric developed by Tellason with Kaihara is a serious winner: crisp, dark, and guaranteed to fade beautifully. Also the Gustave cut: I’ve been searching forever for a slim but comfortable fit with a strong taper. Few denim labels do a cut like this. And I’ve finally found it with the Gustave. It’s unique, and feels like it was custom made for me. As always, the Tellason details and quality are 100%: subtle and traditional which respects the classic 5-pocket jeans but makes them uniquely theirs. And I’m a denimhead, so I hate any detail that seems gimmicky. Tellason honors American tradition. Well done Tellason, these are as good as I remember. I’m definitely buying a few more pair.
