Our Chinos are a big part of our DNA, even though we are a "denim" company first and foremost. The fact is, Tony and I have super memories of wearing these from the army surplus stores around the campus of SDSU. They were 100% awesome and cheap, which gave us the freedom to hammer away at them without thinking about how difficult it would be to pay for a replacement pair. So for the two of us, we relish those days and hope those stores are still open for this generation to tap into for their own style and creativity.
A quick shout out to Blair at General Quarters in L.A. He has had our back since day one and his shop's feel back then and even today, speaks of this love for old twill, old denim and the vigorous life related to those who built our country and the clothes they wore to get things done.
Our Chinos are built with some incredible two ply warp and weft fabric from Japan and cut and sewn in San Francisco. They have a button fly and are offered in two fits: tapered leg and straight leg. Pretty straight forward if you ask me. And wait until you get a couple of years in these things. They might just turn into your favorite trousers.
