I’ve worn through a few pairs of Tellason now. Great construction and fabric, and the best customer service. I’ve worn ladbrokes in the past, but wanted to try a slighter higher rise, these are perfect. I’d love to see these in black, please?
Great jeans from construction to fit. Bought the mid rise Elgin. Good fit for me (shortish legs, long torso, not much butt). Fits higher on the waist, which for me is a good thing. Plus it's made in The City!
Perfect fit, well made, beautiful
Really enjoying these jeans. It's hard for me to find a great fitting pair of jeans with a high enough rise to be comfortable. I'm 6'5" and 240 lbs so length is a common issue, but no so with these. Plenty long and able to enjoy a nice cuff as well. This is my first pair of raw/selvedge and i'm enjoying the break in process. Only thing is my actual waist measures 38" and I typically wear a 36" (vanity sizing). I ordered a 38" here expecting these to not have much vanity sizing at all. But the measured waist was indeed 40" when I received them. No problem though as a quick trip to the tailor fixed that issue and now I'm loving them. Would definitely purchase again
The best part about these jeans are that they are comfortable out of the box, considering.
Finally found a great slim fitting jean with a mid-rise. Excellent quality too. Can't wait to break them in.
The look and feel of the denim is great. I got these jeans thinking they might make good motorcycle-riding jeans, and I was quite right. Something about the higher waist and the overall fit makes these considerably more comfortable on the bike than any of the other jeans I've owned. In addition, they are long enough to make it all the way to my boots when I am sitting (I'm 6'5"). If you like quality, made in the USA, and don't mind paying for it, then these won't disappoint.
I recently bought my first pair of Tellason jeans, the heavyweight Elgin. I'd been looking for a strong, durable selvedge pair of jeans that were well constructed and fit my 6'5" frame. After correspondence from Tony, I settled on the Elgin and am very satisfied with the pants. As a result I bought another pair of Elgin's this time in a lighter weight and am really happy with the pants. The fit is comfortable and the inseam long enough for me turn a good cuff, which doesn't happen with me too often. Great customer service and an excellent product made me a fan. I'm just hopeful that a black and/or Khaki Elgin is in the wings!
Got a pair for Christmas. I had corresponded with Tellason making sure I got the style with the cut I was looking for. I wanted jeans that were not overly fitted with room in the crotch and a slight taper on the legs. The Elgin is exactly that. I got the 14.75 oz and it is the ideal weight for me. I like the fact that every aspect of them are made in the USA and that there is nothing flashy about them. The leather patch is a nice touch, the pockets are plenty deep and they are very comfortable. I will be buying another pair in the future.
