A NOTE FROM PETE & TONY

Meet our Elgin 14.75 oz. mid-rise slim tapered jean. This fit was developed after listening to some informed and opinionated customers who dug our Ladbroke Grove low(er) rise tapered jean. Their request was simple and single minded - make the Ladbroke Grove longer in the rise.

One meeting with our pattern maker, Pam, and bippity boppity boop - the Elgin was born. Our factory whipped up a prototype and it was perfect. Nothing at all to change here. We jumped into production and carried on with our day. Nice when things go easy on you once in a while...

If you have our Ladbroke Grove, know this - the Elgin has a rise that is 1.5" longer and the rest of the dimensions are exactly the same and our 14.75 oz. fabric (like our 12.5 oz. and 16.5 oz. fabrics) are proprietary from Kiahara since 2019. This is something we are extremely proud of and understand that it takes many hands and a common goal to create something special.

Thanks for reading and cheers to you for keeping this little denim engine cooking!

I will have to count but I think I now own 10 pair of these jeans. I love them. They are made very well and the Selvedge denim is the best!

These represent the way jeans should be made. Only the best ingredients. World class denim and the build quality is exceptional.

I’m not strictly a Tellason guy but they are My absolute favorite brand, absolute favorite cut, absolute favorite denim (14.75 oz) These - as well as all of Tellason’s products - are a piece of art to be loved and enjoyed. You will love them with out a doubt.

Wore a pair of the 16oz for almost 2 years - ended up being the jeans I wore most. Very well-built and perfect for the "lifter's thighs" type person. These lighters one fit right away and can't wait to break them on. Excellent jeans all around.

    After Several months of wear-review

These get better and better. They soften dramatically over the first 15-20 wears. Do yourself a favor and only infrequently wash in cold water and hang dry. They loosen up a bit in the waist, so you want them fairly snug right out of the box. Amazing. The thing that I love is that they don’t sag. They do t just get looser and looser with repeated wears. They do that initial loosening over the first 2-3 wears….and then that’s pretty much it. Very comfortable, they look great too, nice creases and subtle vertical fading within a week or so. Don’t expect immediate high contrast fades, these ain’t that. But they are a perfect fit for me, mid high rise, perfectly slim without being remotely skinny. Fabric is the best, and so is the customer service. 10/10.

Great quality. Exactly what I wanted from a pair of jeans. Loved the personal note - they do indeed fit my tall frame!! Will definitely be a return customer.

They're like a new pair of underwear...

At first they're constrictive, but after a while they become a part of you. I gotta go.
