I have two ragdoll cats with long hair. They are fantastic and love a good brushing. I manage this grooming, along with feedings and litter box duties.
I saw an old guy in the UK with the same cats but he took things a bit further. He built a small "silo" in his garden and filled it with cat hair from the brush. Birds find this and use it to warm up their nests. Now I have the same thing in my yard. I check it all the time and often see it half empty (or half full?), which gives me great pleasure knowing that a local bird is living large thanks to me and my ragdolls.
I mention this since Fall is upon us and it may be time to fluff up that nest of yours with some warmer clothes. Flannel shirts are about as iconic as it gets this time of year, so this fresh Clampdown flannel arrived right on time.
