A NOTE FROM PETE & TONY
In the old days (here we go), when crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, you reached down to the book of tickets in your cup holder, handed a ticket to the bridge toll operator, smiled and headed into the City. Things got automated and just like that, you now zip through without stopping and listen for the high pitched "ding" when passing through the toll gate.
Those operators were the friendliest folks that gave the feeling of appreciation and calmness. During the holidays, it was tradition to hand the operator two tickets. One for you and one for the person behind you. Call me nutty for missing this endearing Bay Area experience.
The race for newness and modern xyz keeps people employed. But those analog moments can find themselves in the lost and found bin, never to see the light of day again. Sometimes we feel that those old moments, those old pieces of clothing we had, are worth hanging on to.
Such is the way of these jackets. A tip of the hat to an old workwear jacket with its simple design and patch pockets on the front. These have a blanket lining interior, with a quilted nylon sleeve on the inside, so the struggle is eliminated getting the dang thing on.
Enjoy the incoming chilly days and thanks for your support!
