I got the stock version a while ago and loved it so decided to upgrade to this one. It doesn’t disappoint. The lining is warm without being bulky. Combined with the heavier denim it’s perfect for year round wear up here in Seattle. I’m 6 ft, 42 in chest, and the XL fits comfortably with a hoodie underneath.
If you get off your wallet for one of these jackets, know they run smaller in the confusing sizing that varies brand to brand. I knew the XXL was the only option due to trying and buying a Tellason moleskin jacket, which I'm very happy with. I'm 6', 215 lbs. With a 46 chest. Durable jackets like this are meant for work even though they are fashionable. Shoulder gussets/under arm gussets assist with less constricting movement for practical work jackets, so this coverall jacket would be more favorable to me if that were designed in this jacket. That and adjustable cuffs would help those of us who deal with long sleeves. Perhaps a cold soak will loosen things up and surprise me.
Picked this up after my stellar experience with the unlined version. I'm 5'7", about 165 lbs. with broad shoulders (40R in a suit jacket) and ordered a M like my previous jacket. It was too restrictive for another layer outside of a thin sweater, so I sized up to a Large. Thankfully, the sleeves cuff very well for my short arms. I was pleasantly surprised how it blocks wind given the deceptively light lining. Doesn't have handwarmer pockets on the side, which may be a bigger deal for you in a late fall/winter jacket, but I personally don't mind. It's refreshing to wear on the streets of NYC among a sea of puffer jackets (just fine in the high 30s/low 40s F with a hoodie, your mileage may vary).
This is my third Coverall and an absolute must have. Somehow not bulky despite being super warm and perfect for Chicago temps [pre-deep freeze of course], long enough that no cold air slips up my back, and distinctive enough that I often receive compliments on how different/cool/awesome my jacket is. Between adding the patches that personalized her and the near constant wear that's easing her into a second skin, I can't wait to see how age treats this beaut. I'm a Coverall/Tellason devotee for sure!
The weight on this coat is great. Coupled with the blanket lining makes this a decent winter coat where I live. It’s been doing great in 30-40 degree weather with just a long sleeve underneath. I’ve got 5 telly jackets and the seem to all run similar in sizing. If you want to layer size up, if you want a closer fit just go with your regular size.
Beautiful jacket with just enough warmth for the shoulder seasons here in the Midwest. Can’t wait to break it in some more.
After doin some research online I ordered a medium but as soon as I received the jacket I realized I needed a large. The guys at Tellason emailed me back right away and the return process was quick. I just received my jacket in size large and it fits perfect. The length is great and I’m able to wear the jacket alone or with a hoodie underneath. The quality is great and I’m really excited to wear this jacket through the fall into winter around my homestead
This jacket is perfect for the fall season in October and November .. great quality and well worth the money
