Exactly what I expect, cut and fabric
Love the jeans. They fit and look great. .
I wanted a lightweight denim during these heat waves of 112 in California. Global warming is real, but I’m not going to stop wearing denim because of it. Damn fine pair of American made jeans with white oak. Couldn’t pass up having some of the last in stock cone mills.
The backstory on the site explains that these were originally designed for a guy with burly legs, but that they’re good on skinny guys too. I’m a skinny guy, prefer a well-shrunken 31 waist in these. On me they look and feel like magically brand-new WWII-era work pants, “dungarees”, which is what I actually use them for. The build, of course, is finer than any real work pants today. Love ‘em.
If you are of a particular age these jeans will take you back to your first day of school. These are jeans you have to brake in and soften up. Tellason jeans also have deep pockets. There is plenty of room in this straight cut model. Thanks for a great product and great service.
Incredibly comfortabla and well fitting
This is my second pair of Ankara 12.5 oz. straight legs. The first one is about 5 years old and started to get holes on the crotch area about a year ago. I had it repaired and its as good as new. This cut fits me really well as it's roomy in the thigh area without being baggy anywhere else. As it aged, I like the way the coloration changed. I'd buy again provided this new pair lasts awhile.
This is my first purchase of Tellason clothing. As a guy with thighs and calves on the larger side, it's tough to find denim that fits well, is comfortable, and looks great. These fit the bill and then some. Made in the USA is also an added bonus. Definitely not my last purchase! Thanks Tellason!
I've been looking for a quality pair of jeans for a long time that can accommodate my chunky and "athletic" build thighs and butt. The Ankara is a great fit, and has ample room even for me, but not baggy. Nice cut, great quality. I'm a fan and will definitely buy again. Only request now is to have a version of the Ankara with an even deeper shade of blue!
